- Nesto Rental Alerts is an operational alerting tool for short-term rental hosts and property managers. It connects to your Ring devices and alerts you when motion is detected outside expected guest or cleaning windows — such as early arrivals, late departures, or cleaning-window exceptions.
- How does Ring account linking work?
- You authorize the connection through Ring’s official OAuth flow. This grants Nesto Rental Alerts access to motion event data from your Ring doorbells and cameras. No video or audio is accessed or stored.
- Which Ring devices are supported?
- Any Ring device that produces motion events is supported, including Ring Video Doorbells, Stick Up Cams, Spotlight Cams, and Floodlight Cams. Compatibility depends on the device’s motion detection capabilities.
- Why am I not receiving alerts?
- Check that your Ring devices are online and motion detection is enabled in the Ring app. Then verify that your alert windows are configured correctly in Nesto Rental Alerts. If the issue persists, confirm your Ring account link is active under account settings, or contact us.
