Ring-Related Data Usage

Data received from your Ring account through the authorized integration is used solely to provide operational alerting and workflow functionality within Nesto Rental Alerts. Specifically:

• Ring-related data is not sold to third parties
• Ring-related data is not used for advertising purposes
• Ring-related data is not used for facial recognition or identity recognition
• Ring-related data is not used to train general-purpose AI models without explicit disclosure and your consent

We access motion event metadata only. We do not access, store, or process video or audio recordings from your Ring devices.

Account Linking

When you link your Ring account, you authorize Nesto Rental Alerts to access motion events and device status information from your Ring devices. This authorization is established through Ring's official OAuth flow. You may revoke this access at any time through your Ring account settings or by contacting us at support@nestoops.com.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Motion event data used for alerting is retained for a limited period necessary to deliver alerts and is deleted thereafter. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Sharing with Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the service (such as cloud hosting and infrastructure providers). These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only as necessary to provide services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

Nesto Limited is based in Hong Kong. If you access the service from outside Hong Kong, your information may be transferred to and processed in Hong Kong or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the service, you consent to such transfers.
